ASBESTOS
LABORATORY
Analyses of asbestos are performed by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Polarised Light Optical Microscopy (PLOM) with identification of the type of asbestos: chrysotile, crocidolite, amosite, tremolite, anthophyllite and actinolite.
Analitica performs analyses on artefacts, soils, excavated soils and rocks, greenstones, railway ballast and in asbestos-containing waste: asbestos cement, asbestos cardboard, linoleum, asbestos vinyl, glues, demolition waste, gaskets, textiles, ceramic materials, insulating materials, sprayed coatings and polymers.
Analitica is a laboratory accredited by the Ministry of Health for asbestos analysis by X-ray Diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM-EDS) and Phase Contrast Optical Microscopy (PCOM).
